It is a hand pump type air sampling tool used with a Gastec detector tube. The air sampling device has a piston that is pulled up to pump air or chemicals to be measured into the Gastec detector tube. The measured values ​​are generated by the reaction of chemicals contained in the Gastec detector tube with air or chemicals pumped into the tube, and the color changes within the Gastec detector tube, allowing for quick readings.

Used to check the efficiency of air flow in ventilation systems/ducts. Break off both ends of the smoke tube and attach a rubber squeeze bulb to one end of the tube. When the bulb is squeezed, a chemical reaction produces white smoke. This smoke makes the air flow. A single tube can be repeatedly used for about 50 tests.
